Meet the Head Skunk

Chris M. King has a history of making seemingly impossible goals a reality. He became an NCAA ice hockey player after learning to skate only one year before. He landed a job in the neuroscience institute of a hospital with no clinical background. He abandoned a successful career in tech to achieve his dream of becoming a major market AM/FM radio personality. And he declined a lucrative job offer to instead live out of his car and on his friend’s couches to build a company. Today, that company thrives.

How did he do it? Simple. He chose to.

Achieving seemingly impossible goals is a function of psychology, neuroscience, and energy fields. It’s a function of getting those things to work for you instead of against you. Chris sets the conditions and behaviors for teams to create exponential increases in performance, innovation, and speed, while using fewer resources. “He’s like a bolt-on super-charger for our organization’s engine that somehow uses less fuel.”

Chris has trained with the best of the best when it comes to flow states and skunk teams. His training and collaborations include organizations hyper focused on flow such as the Flow Research Collective and the Flow Genome Project. He learned about skunk teams by training with organizations like SEALfit, Unbeatable Mind, and FRX Tactical whose founders and instructors are retired US Navy SEALS and US Army Special Forces, as well as his father who worked as a consultant at Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs, also knows as The Skunk Works.

Unconventional as it may be, Chris's journey defies norms. His secret? A resolute choice. Dubbed the "executive witch doctor," Chris is a different kind of performance coach and consultant. By leveraging flow, he builds skunk teams and facilitates transformative expeditions as he takes individuals and organizations to beyond their perceived limits, enabling the realization of the seemingly impossible.

Bring Chris in to speak with you and your team about how much more they can achieve in less time and with fewer resources. And watch your team accomplish what even you didn’t think was possible.
